Medical Services

We are also well equipped to provide a wide range of medical services. We have twenty-five years of clinical experience.  A clinic can have all the equipment in the world but equipment doesn’t make a diagnosis. One has to have the knowledge and experience to recognize where and how to look. Our hospital is full serviced and well equipped diagnostically. All of our hospital stalls are equipped for fluid administration.

Lab
Our in-house lab is fully equipped enabling rapid turnaround; especially important in critical cases.  We provide on-site hematology with serum chemistries as well as urinalysis. For the critical or surgical case we have blood-gas and electrolytes analysis. We also provide fecal test for parasite egg quantification.

Imaging
We utilize true digital radiology. Our system manufactured by Eklin provides a remarkable improvement over standard films; we are able to visualize orthopedic and soft tissue abnormalities never possible in the past.  The Eklin digital system has remarkable detail and the best software in our profession. Ultrasound, also digital, has a seeming endless array of uses, whether it be checking for a 16 day embryo or looking at the thoracic cavity for pleurisy or evaluating tendon/suspensory injuries. We have flexible endoscopy as well as arthroscopy that afford us both diagnostic and therapeutic options.

Patient monitoring
An EKG, blood pressure monitor and pulse-oximeter help us to evaluate the cardiovascular system.  We also have a wide array of dental equipment in case of a dental emergency.
