The Olah's have raised 2 daughters, and now they have a passel of grand kids. Actually, Barbara loves all creatures as evident by her 16 cats, 2 goats (three if you count Bob) and one dog. Holli Linker Holli manages our kennel for both hospitalized patients and boarders. The reason our hospital does not smell like a kennel is because of Holli. Besides caring for the kennel itself, she is devoted to the animals. She grew up in neighboring Stanly county, is married to Ernie and has one son named Cody. Holli also has too many cows, dogs, cats and chickens to count at home. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Holli takes care of all of our special diet orders. |

Dr. Michael J. "Smokey" Puckett Dr. Puckett, a second generation veterinarian, was born and raised in Charlotte. He attended undergrad at Auburn University where he lettered in football and wrestling. Smokey graduated vet school from Auburn in 1984, interning at Texas A&M and performed the equivalent of a 3 year residency in Lexington, Kentucky with Hagyard, Davidson & McGee. Owner of Greenock Farm Veterinary Hospital, he built the Hospital in 1993, originally as the large animal branch of his father’s small animal clinic, Clear Creek Animal Hospital. Smokey enjoys the challenges of equine soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. He finds sport horse medicine rewarding. In our Piedmont region, he finds that one has to be a “jack of all trades” managing anything from dental problems one minute to a colic surgery the next. His wife Sylvia has put up with him and the profession for close to 30 years. He is most proud of his sons, Jake, Pete and Travis. State champion wrestlers, each son has gone to college on a wrestling scholarship (now if they can only graduate.) An avid backpacker he heads to Yosemite with one of his sons when a restoration of the soul is needed. Most mornings by 5:30 or 6:00, he can be found the gym before work. |

Dr. Adam W. Sisk Dr. Sisk came to Greenock Farm after traversing the Appalachain mountains from his home-state of Tennessee. He attended Ole Miss for his undergrad studies and completed his veterinary education and training at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Sisk's main veterinary emphasis is equine medicine and surgery, but he welcomes the challenges that multispecies medicine offers. His equine interest stems from his upbringing near the heart of Tennessee Walking Horse country and his family's near 30 years of involvement with the breed. His family remains active with their private broodmare farm in Tennessee and by competing in shows throughout the Southeast. With his off time Dr. Sisk enjoys attending and watching college football games. He is especially passionate about the orange and white of the Tennessee Volunteers!
