Greenock Farm is a full service equine surgical and medical hospital. Our hospital provides the Southern Piedmont with the only major surgical/medical hospital within a 150 mile radius, saving time and expense. The convenience of the hospital makes daily visitations possible.

Our primary goal in any case whether it is a routine castration or colic surgery is a successful outcome. We want to accomplish this humanely and approach each case with the best interest of both the patient and owner. 

We are equipped and trained to perform not only the routine soft tissue and orthopedic case but the emergency procedure as well whether it be colic surgery or the orthopedic catastrophe.

Our anesthetic of choice is Sevoflurane gas. “Sevo” is very safe and predictable; we believe it’s the best on the market. We monitor our patient’s blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, blood gasses and oxygen saturation during each surgery.

All of our surgical patients receive I.V. fluids.  By starting with a great staff, investing in a quality facility and equipment and providing appropriate monitoring of the patient while under anesthesia we increase the odds of a successful outcome.
